CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Bucknell duo of sophomore Jacquie Klotz and freshman Kyi English were named the Lids Team Sports Patriot League Women’s Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week following their performances during the 14th week (Feb. 8-14) of the 2015-16 season. This week’s honors are the 11th and 12th for the Bison and also marks the third sweep of the weekly honors this season for Bucknell. English earns her second weekly award, while Klotz earns her fourth – just one shy of season leader Kelsey Minato of Army West Point (5).

LIDS TEAM SPORTS PATRIOT LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK 
JACQUIE KLOTZ, BUCKNELL So., 6-0, G, West Windsor, N.J.
Klotz recorded her tenth double-double of the season with 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Bison to a 67-54 victory at Lehigh, going 8-of-13 from the floor which included a 5-of-8 showing from beyond the arc. The sophomore then put on one of her best performances of the season against Colgate, shooting a perfect 9-of-9 from the field with a 5-of-5 clip from three-point range. She missed just one free throw to finish 4-of-5 and led Bucknell to a 79-60 win over the Raiders. Klotz’s outstanding performance this week helped the Bison stay tied atop of the standings with Army West Point at 12-1. She finished the week averaging 25.5 ppg, 9.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.0 spg, with a .773 FG%, .769 3P%, and .875 FT%.

KYI ENGLISH, BUCKNELL Fr., 5-6, G, East Orange, N.J.
English helped the Bison add two more wins to their League record to stay tied atop of the standings with Army West Point at 12-1. The freshman scored double figures in back-to-back contests for the first time in League play, netting 10 in Bucknell’s 67-54 win on Wednesday at Lehigh then matching a career-high 13 points in the 79-60 win against Colgate on Saturday. She also posted five assists, a career-high three steals, and was 6-of-6 from the charity stripe against the Raiders. English finished the week averaging 11.5 ppg, 3.5 apg, 2.5 spg, with a .4375 FG%, .400 3P%, and .875 FT%.

KELSEY MINATO, ARMY WEST POINT Sr., 5-8, G, Huntington Beach, Calif.
Minato became the Academy’s all-time leading scorer when she hit a three-pointer with 27 seconds on the clock in the third quarter at Colgate, surpassing Kevin Houston’s (USMA ’87) record of 2,325. She finished the night with 29 points and was 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. She then added a 22-point performance in the team's 87-51 win against American, going a perfect 6-of-6 from the line, to help the Black Knights stay on pace with Bucknell at 12-1 at the top of the standings.

JOSIE STOCKILL, COLGATE Sr., 6-3, F, Napier, New Zealand
Stockill notched a career-high 29 points against Army West Point on Wednesday, while adding nine rebounds and seven blocks. The senior was also 13-of-16 at the free-throw line for a personal best made and attempted. She then added seven points, four rebounds, and four assists at Bucknell on Saturday.

COLLEEN MARSHALL, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., 5-9, G, Gaithersburg, Md.
Marshall scored 20-plus points for the seventh time this season in the Greyhounds’ 67-46 win over Boston University on Saturday. The senior sparked a 15-0 run in the first quarter to give Loyola Maryland the lead it needed to hold a double-digit advantage the rest of the way. She also totaled 11 points and eight rebounds earlier in the week against Navy.

MOLLY HOURIGAN, HOLY CROSS Sr., 6-4, F, Memphis, N.Y.
Hourigan helped the Crusaders move up in the standings with a solid all-around performance in a pair of wins against Lafayette and Lehigh. In the 57-54 win over the Leopards, the senior totaled nine points, eight rebounds, four steals and two blocks. She then followed up with her sixth double-double of the season (11 points, 13 rebounds) in addition to three assists and three blocked shots in the 77-71 overtime win against the Mountain Hawks. Holy Cross is now tied with Lehigh in third place.

KAITLYN LEWIS, AMERICAN Fr., 5-7, G, Scranton, Pa.
Lewis took on the responsibilities of point guard for a majority of the second half in American’s 79-33 win over Boston U., matching a career-high six assists. In the Eagles’ next game against Army West Point, she led the team with a career-high 15 points on a 6-of-8 shooting mark from the field.
